Seminar: Crisis Planning - The key to corporate resilience

By Clarion
schedule3rd Jul 23

The concept of crisis resilience has become increasingly important for businesses due to recent global crises such as the pandemic, Brexit, energy costs, labour shortages, and supply chain challenges. Businesses need to consider potential situations that could affect them and the consequences, such as worker fatalities, product contamination, data breaches, or catastrophic events involving a building.

These sudden, impactful events can have legal and reputational repercussions and disrupt business operations, even threatening the viability of an organisation. They keep business owners awake at night. Being prepared for and effectively managing crises is crucial for corporate governance and business resilience. A British Standard on Crisis Management has been in place for several years and many different stakeholders would expect this to be implemented given the significant consequences of not adequately managing a crisis.

OHS, Clarion and Morgan King are partnering on this event to provide insights and guidance on crisis planning and management through real-life examples and case studies.

Looking at best practice, ESG considerations and the British Standard on Crisis Management this seminar will provide an update on the key principles of crisis planning and crisis management, and will provide the foundation for an approach to this issue to take back to your business.
